different people came to our class room to explain their jobs and each person had different thing they worked in. The first person to some was Ms. Singleton she was an attorney at a law firm and she explained her background on how she got there. She graduated from Overbrook high school and continues in higher education at Hanuman University and majored in Nursing for 2 yrs but didn't like that field so she moved on to go Rucker university and was ba graduate. She later went to law school for 3yrs and pursued her career in law she became an attorney and she works a lot in mediation. The next person that came in was a commercial banker and he talked about his field and how the banks charges interest and there fees and how his jobs works. The last person that came in was Mr. Hanible he owns his own tax business he started it in1992 and has it 20 year anniversary. He dropped out of 11th grade to take care of his nephews and as he got older one of the people he know from his church had gotten his taxes done and he wanted him to check it to make sure that he was cheated from his money. So after that he like helping him out so he started a little side business during the tax season to help people but he had gotten hired by a  group called Delaware group he didn’t want them to fire him from the job for having another job. He later was hired at vanguard and was getting paid close to 85,000 dollars he worked there for awhile then he wanted to finally start that business adding a printing shop for non tax season. I think this was a good experience for us we got a lot of information on different fields and insight on things we could do in the future.

afghan girls

In the article Afghan girls, scarred by acid, defy terror, it talks about people not women to be educated. The story about the girl named Shamsia getting acid poured on her while she was on her way to school is really crazy. The  fact that people don't want girls to be educated is outrageous. But her parents don't let anything stop her from getting her education, they even said that she has to go to school even if she risk getting killed. That statement would have me so scared, that I would never go to school. Also the fact that these people were targeting school, ready to hurt little girls, teachers or even just women period because they are trying to better themselves and get education is crazy. I thought stuff like this didn't exit anymore, but i guess it does. I mean people should be glad that kids and women are dedicating their selves to go and get a education to better them selves.The fact that in a class room that was once full soon became empty is sad. The parents of these girls were scare to send their daughters to school scared of the fact that they could be killed or hurt bad. The government promised police, and a foot bridge across a nearby road, and a bus but they should not have to do all that just to ensure safety on these girls. The main thing should be catching whoever is in charge of this.

Trayvon martin

My topic for my blogger is Trayvon Martin. The article on fox news is about a boy named Trayvon Martin who was killed for no reason at all. Trayvon is the most talked about right now in the news. People have had walks to get justice for Trayvon Martin downtown. The police are not arresting Trayvon's killer and the parents are outraged and so are people. Heres his story, Trayvon was walking home from the store he had bought a bag of skittles and a arizona. Well While he was on his way home a man followed him and killed him. Trayvon's shooting took place on February 26, 2012. A 28 year old man names George Zimmeman killed Trayvon and he is latin american and white. Trayvon had been walking to his dads girlfriends house from 7eleven when he was being followed by Zimmerman. Zimmerman called the police before he shot Martin sying he witnessed some suspicious behavior. Soon after that he fatally shot Martin. Zimmerman said he had reacted in self defense. The police did not arrest Zimmerman because they said on March 12 that they did not find evidence to contradict his assertion of self-defense.The circumstances of Martin's death reached national and President Barack Obama international news. Many  people, from civil rights leaders to public officials including have made public comments or released statements about the shooting. People said he ws just on his way home and the man shot Trayvon just because they were racist. I beleive that racism still occurs today and others don't. But that's only because people don't bring racism to a front police try to sweep it under the rug. I truly believe if this was a white boy and a black man who had killed them that the man would have been arrested. Now that can't happen because Zimmerman is in hiding. And if they do try to arrest him they would have to find him first. All this could of been avoided if justice was served when it had to be.

In an article i read called should high school give out condom by Robin Eisner they were talking about giving condoms to students in high school because the number of new cases of sexually transmitted diseases and unintended pregnancies in this country. i think that is true, they should be available for everyone because students should practice safe sex so accidents don't happen. a condom is a good thing to give to students because if a sexually active student has sex with a condom it is a very better chance of them not getting a sexually transmitted disease and a greater chance of a female not getting pregnant. it is better to be on the safe side because if the student does not have a condom they could get multiple types of diseases, which ruins their life because if they were to ever have sex again they could pass it on, or they could have a child then an inoccent child has a disease and cant do anything about it because there are alot of diseases you can not cure, that would be a shame. also, if you don't use a condom the female could get pregnant and that could ruin their life even without a disease because some people cannot handle a child at all let alone young, but sometimes people make mistakes especially if they don't have nobody telling them right from wrong and sometimes they would have to drop out of school to raise their child.

This week I read an article called For women Under 30, Most Births Occur Outside Marriage in the new york times its about how they think most women under 30 and that's not married are having babies. They never included if it was bad or not their just saying how many women are having babies under 30. They included that among mothers of all ages, a majority- 59 percent in 2009- are married when they have children. But the surge of births outside marriage among young women. They also stated that nearly two-thirds of children in the United States are born to mothers under 30. I don't like this article but then again I don't it. This article isn't really interesting to me just because its not eye catching. Its not a bad article but its not really interesting. They included in the article that college graduates, who overwhelmingly marry before having children. A sociologist at University of Pennsylvania name Frank Furstenberg said "Marriage has become a luxury good". They also said that the shift is affecting children lives. Researchers have consistently found that children born outside marriage face elevated risks of falling into poverty, failing in school or suffering emotional and behavioral problems. i believe some students do and some students just misbehave.

Basically this article is about how apple don't have safe working conditions.They describe how one man makes a small income and lives in a small bedroom big enough for just one bed and desk wit a computer on it, that he play's his favorite game on. It talks about the dangers that most of the workers at this company can go through and the course of a day. This article makes me thankful that we get paid more here in America and have more safety rules to follow to prevent us from dangerous jobs.i think China needs to upgrade it's economy to higher level so that Chinese workers do not have to do the jobs in the low end of the food chain. These are jobs other rich countries do not want to do. Chinese workers are well educated and hard working. They have a good chance to move into higher income jobs with better working conditions like jobs in US.It is time to use taxation to have American consumers pay the price of their exploitation of Chinese labor.but It is unreasonable to single out Apple, as opposed to any other company which manufacturers products in countries without adequate labor protection laws.In fact, Apple is the only tech company to sign on with the Fair Labor Association, that seeks to establish and monitor international labor standards. I think apple should make their working conditions more safer

i read an article called photoshopped or not, this article was about Dr. Farid and Eric Kee proposing a software tool for measuring how much fashion and beauty photos have been altered. by looking at the picture above you see that people photoshop things and picture, sometimes even too much. Overall they just do it to make people look prettier like they're face and they're bodies. but that is not always a good thing because some people look up to stars and models and singers they see on television or on a picture and think they are so pretty, but sometimes they could look just like you. so people should not compare their self to any model or singer or even actor because how they look on television might not be how they look in person.to me i think people use photoshop to look better and boost there ego

Basically i'm a criminal and so are you is about how everybody is a criminal. no matter what color age or gender you are a criminal. it says everybody smoked pot drinked underage and broked the law .the author who wrote this article Michelle Alexander says ''that she a criminal people was shocked'' because she isa law professor and once for clerked for a U.S. Supreme Court Justice. President Barack Obama admitted had use illegal drugs during his college years. I believe this is so true everybody is a criminal and we all should fill in the space that say i'm a criminal.

so basically this blog is about how facebook runs the ads for the targeted subset of its 845 million users. The multiple of information has available for us as users of facebook targeted for marketing. Facebook had made over 3.5 billions of dollars off of ad's last year in revenue. To some facebook is small not large like google they say google makes about ten times more than facebook. It also says people who email people over gmail can be searched over the web. I agree with this there is alot of ads on facebook to make you click them and than you have to fill stuff out for hours. other website do the same thing but facebook is one of the most people who has ads like google ,amazon, twitter, ebay, and clothing store. i wrote this blog to tell people that websites are using you just like facebook.

Some teams has been on display with regularity early in the season, while others have held more firm in their respective positions. It's going to be very interesting to see what type of adjustments are made as the season continues to move forward.The Chicago Bulls are the top  power rank right now. If Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah can be consistently relied upon for production at the offensive end, but Chicago have to be  extremely cautious with Derrick Rose toe injury but he is recovering.That's for good reason in a shortened season as the reigning MVP is vital to anything the Bulls will do this season.The Bulls will be a really tough opponent for even the most talented teams in the league.The Chicago Bulls are the ones who have the best records of 15 wins and 3 losses.

Number five we have LeBron James is the whole package.At number four we have Dwight Howard, His dunks are always exciting to watch.Hands down, Superman is one of the best big man dunkers of all time. so the most talked about movie in 2011 is Hangover part 2. The Hangover is about Four best friends but one of them will be getting marriage. Stu is the one who is getting married. Stu had invited Doug,Phil and Alan but he regretfully invites Alan to Thailand for the wedding. After a quiet night on the beach with a beer and toasting marshmallows by the camp fire, Stu, Alan and Phil wake up in a weird apartment in Bangkok.Doug is back at the resort, but Stu soon to be brother in law is missing.There is a monkey with severed fingers.Alan shaved his head. Stu gets a tattoo on his face and they cant remember anything that happen the day before. They had retraced there steps through strip clubs , tattoo parlors and cocaine dealing monkeys on the streets of Bangkok, as they try to find there Stu brother in law teddy before the wedding by i found it to be hilarious but predictable. they use the exact type of timeline they did in the first one. it was like deja vu with new jokesbut if you're looking for laughs

As a NBA fans love watching the Kobe Bryant and the Dirk Nowitzki of the league they are getting old they are in there 30s and they going to be out the game soon.Younger players whose accomplishments may one day match or exceed those of their elders.Alot of people want to see Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose to meet in the NBA finals because they are the best young players at only 23.Kevin Durant will be named the MVP of the NBA at the end of this season because his progress takes bigger steps each season.Derrick Rose may have hit the jackpot with his max contract with the Chicago Bulls and a lifetime 250 million dollar deal with Adidas, but that won't hinder his determination to defend his throne as the 2012 MVP.His scoring is slightly less than last year, but has been getting his teammates involved with 8.4 assists per game. To me soon the NBA won't need Kobe and Dirk any more but to have a veteran on the team other than that you might need people like Kobe and Dirk.

I think the New England Patriots have a chance to go to the Superbowl. The Chicago Bulls have made it all the way to the eastern final in 2010-2011 season, because of one man Derrick Rose.He was outstanding when Carlos Boozer was injuryed. He dropped 25 points 7.7 assists 4.1 rebounds as a average and he was named MVP. But beyond Rose, the Bulls had the luxury of many more players stepping up and into their roles as well. Joakim noah has shot up as there starting center he had a double double for two years straight with 11.7 points and 10.4 rebounds .He can be the greatset center in the league. Luol Deng played one of his best seasons in th NBA 17.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and Kyle Korver added an outside shooting threat.The second team would be the Oklahoma City Thunder a surprise team of the 2011 playoffs,  many thought a team that young could not make it all the way to the Western Conference finals but they did.The Thunder proved they have all the pieces to win in the postseason and push the older teams in the West.They are led by its two young superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. two quarterbacks that might get traded

So every off season a handful of quarterbacks are on a trading block but here are two. Some may have not help the team but made it worst than what the team was.Starters that haven’t delivered the results what was  expected from them,because they have the talent to be a started, but their current team doesn’t have plans to give them their starting job any time soon.John beck the Washington redskins are clearly not use to quarterbacks on their roster. If Donovan McNabb gets traded John Beck can get his time to shine as a starter. Sam Bradford may get traded if the rams want a Robert Griffin the third for the same price as Sam Bradford . I believe John Beck should get the starter position over Donovann McNabb any day .I really think every rookie should start over McNabb any day, and if Sam Bradford get traded hopefully he can get traded to a better team than the Rams. hopefully they can do good this season.To me i would have been bench McNabb when he keep getting injuryed and put him back in his spot . once i see McNabb getting better he will earn his spot back

49ers black out during a game

So in San Francisco ,During the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers . The 49ers won against the steelers. they are not focus on the team win but about the 51 year old stadium . they say they trying to move outside of the city and build a new one by santa clara . The lights at Candlestick park shut of right before the kickoff. It was dark for about 15 minutes and the was delayed for 20 minutes.During the second quarter The lights went out again. A major reason its other longtime tenant moved years ago to a new stadium closer to the bay.The San Francisco Giants  couldn't take any more of the wind confines of this archaic stadium, and now it may be time for the football team that has long played at Candlestick to leave as well.It's  time to fully invest time and money into this venture. regardless of the blackout it was a sign  of the end of football in Candlestick park. I think they need to hurry up and move the 49ers Field ,quick before next season they probably going to have blackouts during some game's. NFL is important to men to watch on Sunday's ,then a blackout happen and its a close game. All i have to say is hurry up and move.
